So, it’s been a week since the end of the London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 shows. This year I was lucky to attend it in my new role as a fashion editor of a new and exciting magazine. While the shows I attended (John Rocha, Osman, Huishan Zhang, etc) were great and lots of fun, I think all the major action took place in and around Somerset House. That’s where most of the stylish people of London and beyond gathered for almost a week. Some came to show themselves, others to watch. Bloggers and photographers hunted for best looks, playing on vanity factor of fashionistas like myself.
I have to say LFW has inspired and re-energized my fashion senses. Some people were truly stylish, others were style freaks. I didn’t get the second but still applauded for their creativity. In London anything goes and that’s why it has become a fashion capital for young, edgy and experimental designers from all over the world. The fall has just began but I am already looking forward next season, Autumn/Winter 2013, and thinking about what to wear! In a meantime, enjoy my snapshots of street style from the LFW.
